Please be aware of award changes which take effect from the first full pay period after 1 January 2025.
Fair Work have made a number of changes to the base and intro levels in 37 awards. Some are changes to the applicable award rate, and other changes include an introduction or change to a time limit as to the period of how long an employee can remain at the lowest level. In addition the Aged Care industry have had a number of changes introduced.

In addition to the above change, it is now a jailable offence to underpay wages. Employers should be extra vigilant to ensure that staff are paid in accordance with the current award requirements.
